What is an Academy?
An academy is a group of stakeholders, including students, parents teachers, administrators and community leaders who are working as a team toward the goal of student success by ensuring students have access to the pathways between classroom learning and real world situations.
For instance, many academies arrange small learning communities around themes such as culinary arts, technology, or as we do at Morse, Engineering.
Classroom learning in the academy model leads to such opportunities as internships, scholarships and even jobs.
